So. Who is Neil Young? The Godfather of Grunge or the gentle, acoustic guitar hugging, Laurel Canyon aboding, dare-I-say-it hippie? A rock star or a musical pagan? The poet who turns human emotions into places in nature; the smiling, long-haired lover in the corner, skinny to the bone, hanging onto your every word? Fluffs of grey hair sprouting out of his evergreen sideburns, grinning into the night, the man who always changes?
